Business Leader Awards 2021

That's a wrap for the Business Leader Awards 2021!

Business Leader is the leading voice for UK businesses, connecting and inspiring entrepreneurs.

It was great to be back at the awards, hosted by comedian and TV presenter Tom Allen. Over 600 business leaders attended the event at Ashton Gate to see who the 2021 winners would be, with 76 businesses being shortlisted across 14 award categories.

As the first 'in person' event for the team at MHI after 18 months, it was definitely one to remember. A key highlight of the evening was watching MHI's Co-Founder, Alex Lawson, present this years 'Export and International Business Award', awarding those recognised for their global business growth during the past year. Congratulations again to AIS for receiving this award.

We would like to congratulate all the finalists again on their achievements, especially’s Cas Paton, who was recognised as the 'Entrepreneur of the Year', for all his hard work growing the online marketplace. The winners' gallery can be seen here.

Paul Brown, MHI CEO, formed part of the judges panel who worked tirelessly to review all the entries. We are proud and grateful to have Paul representing MHI in this inspiring event.

Andrew Scott, Founder of the Awards, commented, “It was rewarding to see businesses getting the recognition they deserve following a tough eighteen months. It was also good to see so many of the finalists acting on issues like sustainability and diversity, which are so important. Business can be a force for good and it was great to be back in person celebrating the best of the South West.”

Alex Lawson, Co-Founder and Director of MHI, handed over the Export and International Business Award.

We can't wait to see what's in store for next year’s ceremony, as the Business Leader Awards celebrate their 10th anniversary.
